Important safety information for the mütesync mute button and mütesync desktop application

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions could result in injury, or damage to your mütesync mute button, the mütesync application, or other property. Read all the safety information below before using your mütesync mute button or the mütesync application.

Medical conditions  If you have any medical condition or experience symptoms that you believe could be affected by mütesync or flashing lights (for example, seizures, blackouts, eyestrain, or headaches), consult with your physician prior to using the mütesync mute button.

Explosive and other atmospheric conditions  Using the mütesync mute button in any area with a potentially explosive atmosphere, such as areas where the air contains high levels of flammable chemicals, vapors, or particles (such as grain, dust, or metal powders), may be hazardous. Exposing the mütesync mute button to environments having high concentrations of industrial chemicals, including near evaporating liquified gasses such as helium, may damage or impair mütesync functionality. Obey all signs and instructions.

Repetitive motion  When you perform repetitive activities such as clicking the mütesync mute button, you could experience discomfort in your hands, arms, wrists, shoulders, neck, or other parts of your body. If you experience discomfort, stop using the mütesync mute button and consult a physician.

Choking hazard  Some mütesync accessories may present a choking hazard to small children. Keep these accessories away from small children.

Handling  Handle your mütesync mute button with care. While it is made of durable materials, it has sensitive electronic components inside. Your mütesync mute button can be damaged if dropped, burned, punctured, or crushed, or if it comes in contact with liquid. If you suspect damage to your mütesync mute button, discontinue use, as it may cause injury. 

Repairing  Don’t open your mütesync mute button and don’t attempt to repair your mütesync mute button yourself. Disassembling your mütesync mute button may damage it, result in loss of return and refund eligibility, or cause injury to you. If your mütesync mute button is damaged or malfunctions, contact mütesync. 

USB Cord To use the mütesync mute button use the included USB-C cord and/or adapter. You may also use other third-party USB-A and USB-C cables that are compliant with USB applicable country regulations and international and regional safety standards. Other USB cords may not meet applicable safety standards and should be used at your own risk. 

Using damaged or frayed cables or connecting when moisture is present, can cause fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to mütesync or other property. When you use a USB cable to connect the mütesync mute button, make sure its USB connector is fully inserted into a compatible adapter. 

The USB cord may present a choking hazard for children or pets. Always ensure cords are not within reach of children or pets. Sleeping or sitting on the cable should be avoided. 

Muting of Microphone Use of the mütesync mute button or the mütesync application does not guarantee that your microphone is muted. There are various factors that may cause the mütesync mute button or the mütesync application to fail to mute your microphone. The mute status indicator on the both the physical mute button and desktop application icon may be incorrect. Use the mütesync mute button and the mütesync application at your own risk.
